Suchi mudra is a mudra of elimination. This helps in daily elimination and intestinal cleansing. Suchi mudra is also useful in un-wellness, spite, impatience and violent temper.It helps to relieve chronic constipation.

How to form Suchi Mudra?

1) Clench both of your fists and hold them in front of your chest. This is the basic position.

2) Inhale and stretch the right arm to your right side and point the index finger upward.

3) At the same time, stretch your left arm to the left.

4) Hold this pose for 6 breaths and then return to the basic pose.

5) Repeat above steps six times on both sides.

How long to practice Suchi Mudra?

1) For serious chronic constipation, do shuchi mudra four times a day.it can be done for 10 to 40 minutes in a day.

2) For light constipation, repeat six to twelve times in the morning and at noon.

3) When traveling or in acute cases, practice every morning before rising for 5 to 10 minutes while comfortably lying in bed.

Then hold Mudra Number 24 for several minutes.
